Lonzado A. Langley serves as technology risk management advisor at Planet Defense LLC


Communicating risk policies and processes for an organization, a risk manager provides hands-on development of the risk models that involve market, credit and operational risk. Besides, it is also his responsibility to assure that the controls are operating effectively and provide the research and analytical support. They need to have excellent quantitative and analytical skills along with the ability to apply those skills across a variety of business processes. 

Pertaining to other tasks performed by a risk manager, he designs and implements an overall risk management process for the organization. It includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur. Performing the risk evaluation, a risk manager evaluates the previous handling of risks and compares the potential risks with criteria set out by the company such as costs and legal requirements. 

These risk managers work with the companies to assess and identify the potential risks that may hinder the reputation, safety, security and financial prosperity of the organization. Once the risks are identified, assessed and evaluated, risk managers then implement the processes and procedures to ensure that their clients are fully prepared to deal with any potential threats. 

Being highly analytical, the large part of the time of these risk managers is focused on conducting the detailed risk assessments. Serving as the technology risk management advisor at Planet Defense LLC,  Lonzado A. Langley is an experienced head of Strategy with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. 

Lonzado A. Langley formerly served as cyber security and risk analyst at Leidos where he was involved in designing and implementing custom and 3rd party enterprise IT systems and networks Assess information network threats such as computer viruses, exploits, and malicious attacks; operate vulnerability assessment equipment in support of intrusion analyses. This includes planning, evaluating and selecting technologies required to complete the rollout.

Regarding his education credentials, Lonzado A. Langley completed his Bachelor of Applied Science Electronic Engineering from DeVry University. Currently, he is pursuing Masters in Cyber Security and Operations from UTICA College.
